Description
Pinocchio's Restaurant is a listed building situated in Walton-le-Dale Preston, the site from which Oliver Cromwell conducted the battle of Preston in 1648. When it was won he took a well-earned rest there to write his despatches at the inn. Newly refurbished, Pinocchio's is air conditioned throughout and boasts a light and spacious bar area while the open kitchen adds theatre to the dining experience. The Restaurant is modern in style boasting an eclectic mixture of design using materials such as marble and glass, which remain tastefully in keeping with the buildings traditional features such as the17th century iron and brass fireplace and the original wood beams. No longer the centre of a battlefield, Pinocchio's has been family owned and run for over two decades now and is the perfect setting for a quick lunch or a long relaxing dining experience.
